So working kind of fizzled out for everyone but there were plans in the works. Pilot Rock? Portland? The Coast? It seems like anything was an option. But it was a relaxing time and we all got to just hang out and enjoy life. Well, enjoying life as much as you can when there’s not a lot of money or job prospects.

This week’s thoughts

So I’m trying a new layout for the blog post this week. What do you think? I think it falls more inline with the order I see everyone consuming the information in. Listen first then read the post. I try not to give too much away in my weekly review but this way if you read this part before or while listening to the episode then it’s on you because the episode is clearly before the written content 😉

Okay, now a little explanation of this weeks featured image. In this episode Mom mentions getting ready to watch Saturday Night Live on November 4, 1978. I did a little research and found out that Steve Martin was the host so he and Dan Aykroyd did one of there Festrunk Brothers skits. I don’t think the picture is from the episode though it’s hard to tell because I’m pretty sure they wore the same outfits every time. I was able to watch that episode on Hulu Plus, if you’ve got an account or if you want to buy it on Amazon, give it a look. They just don’t make them like this anymore. Well, we hope you’ve all been enjoying the podcast, see you next week!
